Arrived in Victoria on the ship Andromache in November 1848 aged 16. Also on the ship was her future husband Charles Haig, and a Lydia Miller aged 17 (? sister). After the death of her first husband Charles Haig, she remarried George Harriott (architect) and had 3 further children.

Selina married Charles Haig in Jan 1852 in Melbourne. (Charles Haig was born in 1828 in Edinburgh, Scotland and died in 1866.)

Selina next married George Harriott on 20 Jan 1867 in St Pauls, Geelong. (George Harriott was born in 1823 in Ormskirk, Lancashire, England, died on 16 Jun 1898 in Western Hotel, Wickliffe and was buried in Wickliffe Cemetery, Wickliffe, VIC.). The cause of his death was Senile cerebral softening of approx 12 months.
